Bobby Flavell - Drums and Percussion, Lead and Backing Vocals
Bobby is the veteran of the band and brings a wealth of experience with him. Bobby started playing back in the 60's whilst in the army and played with Scotland's very own Chris McClure for 14 years. He performed with the resident band in Gilmerton for 11 years and has racked up enough songs in his time that he could play for longer than any I-pod or Karaoke machine!
Bobby has the rare ability to sing lead vocals and play drums at the same time and like Lyndsay, his voice is versatile and can switch between a "husky" high register (like Rod Stewart) and a lower register "crooner" (like Frank Sinatra).
Luckily Bobby travels to nearly all the gigs with the rest of the band. On the rare occasions that he has made his own way to a venue, he has ended up calling the band to send out a search party! (He always blames it on the Sat Nav.) What's wrong with a good old map and compass?!
